Romantic home in 1900 century style with garden and terras and situated close to the historical center of Ghent

“The home of Cindy and Lucien, Casa Lucinda, offered us more than we could expect. It is very beautiful, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and nicely decorated in 1900 century style with an atmosphere that made us immediately feel at home. It has a lovely garden and seating area. The house is located in a nice quiet residential area adjacent to a large park and the historic Gent with interesting landmarks within short distance by bus (the bus stop is a short walk away). Cindy and Lucien gave us a very warm and friendly welcome and made us feel at home. They also invited us for dinner, they are excellent chefs and we enjoyed the traditional Belgium food and beers! They are the most perfect hosts. One will have to look very hard to find another such lovely, dear and generous couple. We are very privileged that Cindy and Lucien made this exchange possible and we thoroughly enjoyed the stay. They are such gentle, warm and friendly people and we wish to extend our sincere gratitude for their great hospitality. This all contributed to a very wonderful and unforgettable experience. “ABSOLUTELY perfect. Cindy runs a tide ship, the place has so much caracter. Very tastefully decorated. 5 min drive from downtown Ghent. Tricky stairs, so if you are over 60 might be a bit of a challenge. We were in the middle of the Christmas holidays, so winter weather and still the garden and patio were great, also the sauna Location to see Belgium could not be better. Easy in and out of the City. Ghent is so nice, and in our humble opinion nicer than Brugge. We give 5 out of 5”

“Cindy and Lucien \'s fantastic, very bright, spacious house  is located on a lovely quiet street close to the centre of Gent. It is in a delightful neighbourhood, (a beautiful wood is just opposite ) and at easy walking distance there are shops and restaurants. The bus stop to the city center is just few steps away.  An ideal base to explore not only Gent , but all the Flanders, Bruges, Bruxelles, Anvers........ And the house ........ is simply amazing . They have decorated their house in such a lovely way, paying attention to every detail . We loved coming back to it every evening and relaxing, playing the piano, or billiards And Cindy and Lucien are great exchange partners, so friendly and nice. They also invited us for dinner.
