Notre maison
It is situated on the top floor of a beautiful Brussels House (maison de maître), offering deep views on the green gardens around - without being seen :-) and a great natural light from the many windows.
It has a fully equipped kitchen opened on the living room.
As audio-visual artists, we have a beamer along with an high quality sound system, a lot (!!) of movies collected over decades, old and recent vinyls, an electronic piano, art books, etc.
But what we love the most is our large south facing terrasse where we like growing fresh tomatoes, salads, paprikas, zucchini's, many herbs, edible flowers, etc. We also have a barbecue.
The second bedroom is our office, suitable for two desks, but we could transform it into an extra bedroom if necessary. Let us know if we need to arrange it.
The bathroom is equipped with Italian shower, washing machine and dryer.
We can leave our 2 bikes are at your disposal, to move around quickly.

Where is it?

The "Brugmann" neighbourhood in Ixelles is a quiet, cosmopolitan and enjoyable area, situated in the southern part of Brussels. From there you can easily reach the main museums, the historic center, midi and central stations, and the European institutions.
Our home is located at a walking distance (10-15 minutes) from Chatelain, Bascule, Bailly, Saint-Gilles. Many parks around including the Duden park, bois de la Cambre and Forêt de Soignes. A lot of beautiful places to visit, including many Art Nouveau houses (Horta).
Practically: At 5-10 minutes walking distance in any direction, you'll find everything you need. From grocery stores to bio market, nice restaurants (a great diversity) and bars everywhere.
If you want to stay away from the rush of busy towns, it is a perfect option. Brussels is small in size, but highly diverse and multicultural. From our home you can go everywhere in town either by foot, bike or public transport - for the lazy ones ;-)
