Notre maison

We live in a cosy house at walking distance from the centre of Bruges: 10 minutes walking brings you right into the middle of this beautiful town. When you leave the doorstep, you have everything you need within 500 m: some bakeries and butchers, a pharmacy, a supermarket,... You also can buy your ingredients on the local market, several times a week. Downstairs, we have a hall, a livingroom, a kitchen, a bathroom and a terrace with barbecue. At the first floor there are 2 bedrooms: the master bedroom with a king size double bed and a children's room with a baby-bed. At the second floor there's another room, but for the moment we use it as storage.

We are Peter (42) and Evy (30), both working in a school in Bruges. I'm a secretary, Peter teaches sports. We are both sport-loving and like to explore the nature during our holidays. In the past, we mostly travelled by tent. But starting from now, we'd like to try out the home exchange program for several years. The reason for that is that we have our first baby and we would like to have more comfort than we would have during camping. We have one cat named "Casimir" to take care of during your holidays here. If you have animals, don't hesitate... we'll take care of them... Please take care of our house, we'll do the same at your place. We have already exchanged our home one time, and it was a great experience!

We live right in the middle of some fantastic European cities such as Londen, Paris, Amsterdam. That means you also can explore these cities during your holidays in Bruges. If you like to stay nearby, we can offer you this: Bruges is a very romantic, medieval town with a lot of beautiful houses and protected monuments. You can find so many museums and restaurants, hard to select one. If shopping is what you're looking for, you'll be spoiled in Bruges. Make sure you take a evening-walk through the many little streets in Bruges! If you like the nature, you'll find some forests in the neighbourhood. The Belgian coast is very close, it is only 20 km away. Between the coast and our house, you'll find some fantastic places to ride a bike! There are some swimming pools nearby where you can swim, we have some splendid fitness centra, there are some canals that are beautifull to take a walk,... Other posibilities are the other Belgian towns: Gent, Antwerpen, Brussel. These cities are at driving distance from our place. (50 km - 100 km)
