Notre maison
Our home is far from being a typical Belgian villa. It is set in a secluded and wooded valley and is overlooked by no other houses. It is in the leafy and exclusive Brussels suburb of Sept Fontaines, yet is only a 25 minute drive from the historic city centre, 30 minutes from the airport and about 3 hours from Paris, Amsterdam and Cologne. Its swimming pool and substantial grounds offer a pleasant and relaxing retreat from Brussels' museums, art galleries, restaurants and fashion shopping, while the Belgian capital is itself a crossroads of Europe. The house is modern (1960s) and well-equipped, with a double bed in each of the three bedrooms. Local shopping offers a choice of five supermarkets and smaller groceries, pharmacies etc, with nearby Waterloo offering a cinema, plentiful shopping and, of course, its 1815 battlefield!
