Notre maison

A beautiful, newly renovated, open plan house with modern kitchen, kiddy corner and spacious living area. We have 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms on the first floor and a large study and guest room on the 2nd. A large cellar equipped with table tennis table, football table and punch-ball. There is a large garden with plenty of space to play and enjoy the peace.

We are Sarah-Jane and Max. I am Irish, 38, a recuritment consultant and my Dutch husband Max is a 49 year old Lab Manager. We have 3 children, Alannah 9, Sean 7 and Leah 4. We have been living in Antwerp for the last 10 years. We enjoy sports (tennis, running, basketball) and music (piano).
This is our first house swap and you can be sure we will treat your house with the same respect we treat our own.

We live in a residential area on the left bank of the Schelde river which runs through Antwerp. It is a quiet, leafy suburban neighbourhood. Our house is separated from the river by a road and park containing playgrounds, a promenade, minigolf, 50m outdoor swimming pool and a few restaurants with nice terraces. We are within walking distance of local shops,tennis courts and a riverside wood. We are also very close to the centre of Antwerp, (15min by bike or 10 min by tram), a picturesque city famous for it's spectacular cathedral, excellent restaurants, well known as the fashion centre of nothern europe. Antwerp is 40 min from Brussels and within a 2/3 drive of Paris, Amsterdam, Cologne and London.
