Notre maison

9 years ago we bought this beautiful, spacious house and we spent 3 years to renovate it. The interior is a combination of modern design and antique furniture. We have also a small gallery ( www.galerijbrug6.be ) on the first floor. (not in use at the moment)
We live on the second and third floor, and on the fourth floor we rent an appartment (to a nice, quiet person). There is one terrace behind the kitchen, and a second one, very sunny, behind the bathroom. In the livingroom you can find a piano and other nice percussion instruments. Try them!

We are a couple (Frankie (1962) and Els (1973)) living together since 14 years. I'm a classical singer and Frankie is making sculptures in stone, wood and bronze. We love art and that's why we have a small gallery in our house! Untill now we did 5 house exchanges and they were all great! Important detail: we have 1 cat, and she will stay at home, so we would like you to ask to take care of her...thanks! This means you can't bring your own pets , but we are willing to take care of them!

We live very close to the old centre of Antwerp, 10 minutes walking from central station, 500 meters from a brandnew park with the beautiful new museum "Mas" with nice cafe + terrace, 50 meters from a big square (with 2 times a week a nice market). You can find everything in our multiculturel neighbourhood, like nice restaurants and shops...Antwerp is a very trendy city, with a lot of culture. "The summer of Antwerp" offers you plenty of activities, like theater, circus, concerts, etc. In august you can enjoy the famous "Jazz Middelheim" festival and "Laus Polyphoniae", festival of old music, and so on...Antwerp is only 40 min. away from Brussels, 1,5 hour from Amsterdam.
