“We highly recommend an exchange with Patricia and Ingo in their lovely home in Vienna. We spent a week here in July 2015. The apartment is clean, bright and spacious with 2 bedrooms and the location is perfect. Everything is in walking distance but we can also recommend the fantastic public transport system, the U-bahn was 3 minutes walk away from home. During our stay we went to a Mozart concert, a pop-festival, swim in the Donau river and also did a day trip to Bratislava, Slovakia. We had the opportunity to meet Patricia and Ingo IRL when they arrived in our home in Stockholm. They are the best exchanger you can possible get. Experienced travelers and home exchangers, respectful, well organized and such a lovely couple. They took very good care of our home and car. Would love to see them again someday. “One week in Vienna sounds like a dream. Our Family and I enjoyed it very much. There's so much to do and see in Vienna. We went to the technical museum, visited Schoenbrunn-Castle, the Zoo and had some relaxing breaks in the typical Viennese coffee houses. We were there with the car and took the opportunity to visit the Lutzmannsburg Thermal, which ist approx. 1 hr. drive. A lot of thanks to Patricia and Ingo who made our family-vacation possible. Their flat is nicely located. It has everything and is very comfortable. The famous Naschmarkt, the shopping street "Mariahilferstraße" and the metro-station U4 are within walking distance. Thank you very much, we really enjoyed our stay! Hugo with Family”
“We really enjoyed our staying in Patricia's apartment. It was very comfortable and located in the centre of city, only few meters away from the colorful central market of NachtMarket and Margaritten Strasse full of nice caffe and restaurants. The apartment is luminous and pleasant. We had the opportunity to discover Vienna with our kids and to find out that is not only the empire buildings and environment but also very friendly to the kids and an interesting city.”
“Thanks to Patricia & Ingo for this very nice long weekend in Vienna! We felt received very warmly and everything we needed was there. The apartment is very clean, comfortable and centrally located near the famous "Naschmarkt" and within a few minutes by metro, historic and interesting places in Vienna are reached. This was such a nice, relaxing and culturally interesting weekend and we would definitely recommend an exchange with Patricia and Ingo in Vienna!”
“The house is very well situated, very near to the old city center that can be reached in a short walk and with a subway station at 100 meters that connects you all over the city and surroundings. Bright (with direct sun) and clean flat in an old building and in a very quiet street and quarter, near the market with a lot of restaurants. Very kind young owners that help us with all sort of advices and booklets. Easy communications. We recommend the house as a good base to visit Wien.”
“It was a wonderful stay in the house of Patricia and Igno. We had a warm welcome by Igno. The apartment has a nice atmosphere,it gives energy, is comfortable and clean. Patricia gave us a lot of information. Vienna is beautiful, we had a great time, but staying in this house makes it that I remember Vienna as something very special... Miriam from Amsterdam”
“It was my first experience on HomeForExchange and it was a great one. The location of the apartment in Vienna is interesting: quiet and not far from the center and from the main interesting museums... The apartment is sunny and very agreeable to live in. Thank you to Patricia and Ingo for this exchange and for their welcome!”
Where is it?
The fifth district is one of the finest in Vienna with a lot of cafés, little shops and excellent restaurants round the neighbourhood. The famous "Naschmarkt", a very colourful daily market with fruit and vegies, cafés, restaurant and music and entertainment in the evenings plus jumble sale every saturday is just round the corner. The well known shopping street "Mariahilferstraße" can also be reached by foot in about 15 minutes. The apartment is within walking distance to the metro-station U4 that takes you to the city centre (Opera) that is only two stops away in less than 5 minutes - taking the same metro the other direction you can reach the castle Schönbrunn in about 10 minutes.
