Hi there,
Our flat is located in the 3rd district (Landstrasse) on the 2nd floor ( no lift) in a traditional Viennese historic building. You can find everything from international shops, to traditional Viennese sausage joints, beer gardens, restaurants. Various supermarkets, shops and pharmacies are in very close proximity of the flat. Around the corner from the flat, you will find the tube/subway and a bus stop, which brings you to the city centre within 3 stops. It would take you about 15 minutes walking distance to the city centre with its beautiful sights, traditional coffee houses and boutiques. From the airport It will take you about 10 minutes by taxi/Uber to our apartment.
Our traditional Viennese flat is fully furnished and consist of:
- 2 Bedrooms , a master with a king size bed and a kids bedroom with a single bed (90x200). There is the option to pull out the single bed with an additional comfortable mattress for another person (child) to sleep on.
- 1 big living room/dining area
- 1 fully equipped kitchen
- 1 bathroom with bathtub/shower
- toilet/wash room
- washing machine/dryer
- wireless internet
- TV with Netflix , Apple etc
- very central, bright and quiet!
The sofa could sleep an extra person if needed and the single bed in our child’s room can be pulled out with an extra single mattress underneath.
In case you are travelling with your child:
There are lots of local playgrounds very close to the flat as well as a nature reserve and parks. Our flat is equipped for kids - Toys, high chair , tricycles, etc.
We have two bicycles and child seat for your own use if needed.
Biking lanes are just outside the door step, which will bring you anywhere in Vienna, but most importantly directly to ‘Prater’ which is Vienna’s nature reserve and a pure green oasis , with its fun fair and nature trails - restaurants and tons of playgrounds for the little ones.
We have had wonderful love home swap experiences in the past simultaneous and non simultaneous and we enjoyed it very much. We look after and treat the homes with respect and we would kindly expect you to do the same.
We do not own a car, but as we live very central and we have a reliable and very sufficient public transport system here in Vienna, you won’t need one anyway ;)

“We had a fantastic time staying in Stef's and Oli's apartment. It's modern, spacious and comfortable. Access to the sights and the centre of stunning Vienna is within 20 min walking distance. We love walking so didn't need to take public transport however, transport to the centre looked easy and efficient. Stef met us at the apartment, showed us round and gave us useful tips for places to visit which was helpful. They are a relaxed and generous couple. Would love to stay again. Thanks guys!!”

We are a couple from Austria and Portugal, but lived in London for 12 years where we have met and are now living permanently in Vienna. We have a very well behaved 2 year old boy, which is our biggest joy.
Oliver works in the creative industry and I am a Montessori teacher. We have done many swaps in the past years and have had wonderful experiences. We would truly respect and treat your home with much care.
