Our Austrian cuisine is smashing!! A melting pot of all the cultural influences of the Austrian monarchy. There are regular direct flights to Graz with Ryan air from London and practically every airline via Vienna, Frankfurt and Munic.Graz is a wonderful medieval town of 230.000 inhabitants located at the southern edge of the Austrian Alps. Our house is a 10 Minutes walk or a five minute drive by tram from the city center, yet is only a few minutes away from the countryside. You can walk to a large castle from our home, walk to a supermarket or take the tram for a few stops for a large selection of restaurants and shops down town.
By the way, Arnold Schwarzenegger was born and grew up in Graz.
Graz is surrounded by rolling hills and mountains, perfect for biking, hiking and exploring. 30 miles south you are in the midst of the rolling hills of the Austrian wine country, or see the famous Lipizan Horses, the same distance north you can hike the Alps.
