You will be coming to the OUTBACK make no mistake!! The town is very small mostly populated by mining industry employees thier familys, local business owners and a small comuninty of local tribal aboriginal familys. The area is home to a major iron export port and the town is very close (10 min) to lovely beaches and a small fishing town with great local seafood eaterys and an aussie pub. We also have a historical town and art gallery close by.There is a small shoping center (foodmarket, newsagency, liquor store, 3 fastfood/resturants, travel agent and video store), the town has a great pool free to use and a gym with instructor also free. There are nice walking paths all around town and maps available with distances. Our street is super friendly and we have great neighbours who will help you out and make you feel welcome. If you want to see the wonderful Pilbara national parks ( Millstream, Karrijini ) our home would be a great base also if you are interested in fishing we have great deepsea fishing and beautiful white sandy beach islands (unpopulated) to go camping on on. If you have no boating expierience dont dispair our friends and family love to go to the islands and would take you in a heartbeat. We are mid twentys couple both employed at the iron ore port. We love travel and the outdoors, fishing, camping and the beauty of our area. This house is our 2nd home and if you are interested in a long stay we could spend a little time showing you around prior to us going to your country. We take great care of our hard earned belongings and would show equal respect to yours. We love to have a laugh and are both very down to earth and will respond to all questions. This would be our first exchange and we look foward to any advice available from expierenced exchangers. Thanks Jo and David.
