Our house is a semi detached (one of a pair). Consisting of three bedrooms, three wc’s one bathroom, one en suite, two living areas, dining area and a modern kitchen. Total floor area approximately 140 square metres plus out door living areas.
The house is 6 years old, and built over two levels, with outdoor living area one downstairs catching afternoon sunshine and one upstairs getting the morning sun. Both outdoor areas are accessed via double glass doors.
Reverse cycle split system air conditioning units service each level.
The kitchen is modern with stainless steel appliances including cook top, oven, microwave, fridge & freezer, dishwasher and espresso coffee machine.
All bedrooms are spacious, two bedrooms have queen size beds, and the third has a double bed.
The upstairs living area is light and bright particularly in the mornings.
Point Lonsdale is a tiny beach side village about 100 kms from Melbourne.
Our house is immediately behind the small shopping strip, which provides for all you would need via a supermarket, chemist, newsagent and several beachfront cafes.
Within 100 metres of the house there is a quiet and protected bay beach suitable for children as well as adults and just 200 metres in the other direction is the wild surf of Bass Strait with a patrolled surf beach for the more adventurous.
Spectacular views of entrance to Port Philip Bay are available within a 5 minute walk.
The nearby town of Queenscliff (5kms by road or bicycle path) is a bustling fishing town with any other facilities that might be required. It is also the terminal for the cross bay ferry accessing the Eastern side of Port Philip Bay , including the busy township of Sorrento with its nightlife and many boutique shops.
There are several other small beach side towns in close proximity, with a variety of restaurants and cafes, and a wide range of interesting local produce and periodic markets.
There are bicycle trails, walking trails, fishing, a full of range of sporting opportunities, including golf, bowls, tennis, and surfing. From Queenscliff marina a range of fishing eco tourism and diving tours are available. A short drive a way is the grandeur of the heritage listed Great Ocean Road with its magnificent scenery.
