Notre maison

Our home was built in early 2000, it was a builders show home. The home features 3 lounge sitting areas, one being upstairs. The upstairs section features a balcony with views of the sea and in the distance Glenelg a popular destination for visitors.
The home is modern and kept in an excellent condition. The gardens are small and easily managed. There is a large covered out door area with BBQ.
The property faces west with glorious sun sets viewed from the upstairs balcony. This home makes it perfect for two couples to share or grown up children with independence for the other couple. The neighbourhood is very quiet and very friendly. Hallett Cove shopping centre is new and not too big. Marion shopping centre is 15 mins away with large and caters for all day shopping. A new electric train is 5 mins away by car for trips to the city 30 mins away. To the south is many wineries and 60 mins drive to Kangaroo island ferry.

Day Trips
Victor Harbor is a coastal town in South Australia. From the waterfront, horse-drawn trams cross the causeway to Granite Island, home to a wild penguin colony. Steam locomotives pull the Cockle Train to nearby Goolwa, a gateway to the wetlands of the Murray River Mouth. Offshore, southern right whales frequent the waters of Encounter Bay. The Heysen Trail runs across the Fleurieu Peninsula to Cape Jervis

Kangaroo Island lies off the mainland of South Australia, southwest of Adelaide. Over a third of the island is protected in nature reserves, home to native wildlife like sea lions, koalas and diverse bird species. In the west, Flinders Chase National Park is known for penguin colonies and striking coastal rock formations, like the sculpted Remarkable Rocks and the stalactite-covered Admirals Arch

Not only is McLaren Vale an internationally acclaimed wine district, the town also offers beautiful scenery, with local restaurants and cafés serving up delicious regional produce.

Just 40 kilometres from Adelaide, McLaren Vale is nestled between the Mount Lofty Ranges and the beaches of Gulf St Vincent, and is the perfect base to explore the region's many cellar doors.

Wander the main street looking around the art studios, galleries and shops along the way, indulge your sweet tooth at Medlow Confectionery (famous for FruChocs) or head off on the McLaren Vale Cheese and Wine Trail.

To get a feel of the countryside, walk or ride the eight-kilometre Shiraz Trail beginning adjacent the Visitor Information Centre and meandering through to the township of Willunga, passing via vineyards, wild olive groves and old gum trees.

The McLaren Vale wine region is rich in history, with the first vines planted by John Reynell in 1838, two years after the proclamation of the colony of South Australia. As early as 1850 the historic Hardy and Seaview wineries were in operation, and it is widely accepted that Thomas Hardy's purchase of the Tintara vineyard in 1853 marked the symbolic beginning of the town.
