Welcome to historic Steveston Village! We are located across the street from the Gulf of Georgia Cannery a National Historic Heritage site that documents the history of the Salmon canning industry that flourished on the south arm of the Fraser river in the 19th century and shipped canned salmon around the world. We are a block and a half east of Garry Point park that sees the Fraser empty out to meet the Gulf of Georgia...next stop Vancouver Island. The West Dyke trail begins and will take you on a leisurely walk or bike ride to the North Arm of the Fraser where you can watch the planes take off from Vancouver International Airport or you can continue on and circumnavigate Lulu Island (Richmond).
