Notre maison

This superb and large vintage apartment takes the entire third floor of a typical white stone house built in 1910 in one of the best neighborhoods in Montreal, the heart of Plateau Mont-Royal. Mont-Royal avenue is a few steps away with all the shops, restaurants and bars, yet Marquette street is a large tree-lined residential street with direct access to the expansive Lafontaine park. Original woodwork and plaster moldings have been preserved, 9 foot ceilings, red pine floors thru the apartment.

The apartment sports a spectacular covered terrace facing west, complete with hammock, a couch and the possibility of dinner for 8 outside even on a rainy day; a second beautiful cedar wood front balcony, exposed for morning sunning, an atrium yoga room with organic oiled oak floors, cathedral ceilings and exposed brick in the refurbished shed; and a great play room for kids with a huge chalkboard. The main bedroom has a rosewood king size bed, two kids room each have a single bed, someone could sleep on the couch in the living room or in the yoga room. The kitchen is well equipped with a brand new Bosch dishwasher, a huge fridge and a large separate freezer. Health conscious individuals will love our juicers, vitamix blender, dehydrator. Everything is included: heat, electricity, hot water, phone and very fast WIFI internet. There is a 24/7 grocery store, gym and Second Cup, at the corner, next to a SAQ liquor store, fruit stores, bakeries and everything else you might need. This location is easy to commute to and from with Mont-Royal métro station 10 minutes away and a Bixi bike rental station at the corner. If you're a bit athletic, riding a bike thru the parks, up the mountain or over the bridge to St-Helene Island is a dream. Easy acces to Parc Jean-Drapeau, the Mount Royal, Old Montrea. Ideal for a family, tor a group of friends. This neighborhood features numerous spectacular parks, including the expansive Lafontaine park which is at a five minute walking distance. There you will find tennis courts, kids playgrounds, jogging tracks thru the woods, picnic tables, baseball fields and lots of space to practice any sports, a restaurant and an outdoor theater space with a full summer long schedule of mostly free entertainment. In the winter there is a skating rink on the lake and tobogganing areas. Laurier Park, Jeanne-Mance Park, Mount Royal Park and Jean Drapeau Park are all very easy access by bus, bike or on foot.
