“An absolutely wonderful home in a superb location in the beautiful Lockyer Valley. The accommodation was very comfortable and we had everything we needed to make our time in Australia a great success. The peaceful location was stunning and we overlooked wonderful countryside and saw amazing sunsets, sunrises and stars. We were excited to see kangaroos and wallabies bouncing through the huge garden. Laidley was a friendly town and close to the coastal areas of the Sunshine Coast and the Gold Coast; Tamborine mountain and lots of interesting towns and villages and stunning scenery. We absolutely loved our stay there and would go back at any time Kathie and Tom were excellent hosts and easy to communicate with. They were kind enough to leave us a lovely new automatic car which helped to make our stay easy and successful. Their lovely friends looked after us really well ensuring we had everything we needed and taking us around when we first arrived A truly fabulous trip and one I will never forget”

Built in 2007, our home overlooks the village of Laidley in the Lockyer Valley. With verandas all the way round the house there is always a spot to catch the sun or a breeze. Small kangaroos are often seen in the area. Kookaburras, lorrikeets, butcher birds and Willy Wag Tails frequent the garden.
We have three bedrooms - master with ensuite, a double room and a room with two singles which come together as a King. There are extra mattresses which could cater for 4 more if needed.
A very friendly neighbourhood and we are close to transport to Brisbane, Toowoomba and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts.
In the village there is a top class gold course, cafes and eateries and a lake where you can fish and picnic and maybe take a swim.
It takes about 15-20mins to walk to the town centre.
