Notre maison

Amongst the trees in Laguna, bordering the Yengo National Park, this cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the boutique Wollombi wineries or the huge range of Hunter Valley vineyards and restaurants.

Perfect if you want to chill out amongst yourselves or entertain with friends along with native fauna and flora on 72 acres of pure Australian bush and tranquility.

The house sleeps a maximum of 6 adults. We can also provide a baby cot or you\'re welcome to bring your own. Both the master and second bedrooms have queen size beds. The living room has a very comfortable pull out queen sofa bed with a real mattress. Both bedrooms have views overlooking the valley and the bush out the sides. The house has beautiful floorboards downstairs and cosy carpet upstairs.

A modern bathroom with separate large shower & toilet. All bed linen and towels are provided.

There is satellite television, FREE wireless broadband internet, DVD player + DVDs, ipod/mp3 doc/speaker and CD player/stereo if you need to get your power fix. Plus we have a large selection of games, books, and magazines for your enjoyment!

If you feel like exploring the area by car, we are not far from several boutique wineries in and around Wollombi such as Cedar Creek and Undercliff wineries. We highly recommend them. There is also the Wollombi pub and the Laguna Wine Bar nearby - both serving food and drink.

The house is set up high on 72 acres of wonderful bushland with diverse flora and fauna. We recommend bush walking. Just go out the front door and follow several paths which wind around the house. There is beautiful scenery all around.

Follow the ridge down past the vegetable garden down into the valley.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook and serve a simple meal or an elaborate gourmet spread (including a hooded 4 burner BBQ).

You only need to bring along the food that you would like to cook. We also provide the essentials such as salt, pepper, spices, spreads, olive oil along with tea, coffee & sugar.

For chilly nights, there is a supply of kindling and firewood for the slow combustion oven. For the warmer Summers there is air-conditioning throughout.
